It is really lovely to see how much Mum has improved since being with you at Highfield, not only is she looking much better but she is more communicative and is recovering her ability, and desire, to do more for herself than she has for some time. She has also recovered much of her true personality.
I know how much you did for Mum, you gave her her dignity and as good a quality of life as she could have.
Not once did I observe - not only in respect of my mother but all residents - nothing was too much trouble. Even the most trivial requests were carried out with a smile and kindly, reassuring words.
My mind and heart were soon at peace when I could see, after only a few days, what excellent care and attention my mother was receiving from a truly devoted and dedicated team under your leadership.
I have received nothing but kindness and I am sure the dedicated care of all has greatly contributed to my recovery.
From my perspective she received wonderful care and support whilst here on the Island. Everyone she and I met in Springfield was so positive, friendly and helpful and I am truly grateful, along with my mum for your help.
Having recently spent almost five weeks in Springfield, I am writing to say how very much I enjoyed the experience. All the staff, from the Matron to the cleaners were so pleasant and helpful. Never having stayed in such a place before I was so impressed I almost didn't want to come home!
Thank you very much for all the kindness, care and support you have given to me from everyone. I cannot speak too highly of the level of care I have received. I appreciated all that was done to help me to return home.
The Intermediate Care facility is an excellent idea. To have access to Physio's and OT's is extremely helpful especially after any joint surgery or injury.
I just wanted to write to say a very big thank you for all the kindness and care that was shown to my father during his time with you. He was very happy during his stay at The Elms.
