Tresslewood
Tresslewood is an innovative scheme for the elderly that will revolutionize care but more importantly housing for older people on the Isle of Wight. The development will consist of a 70 bed nursing care home, 50 extra care cottages and 44 extra care apartments (a mixture of one, two and three bedrooms). There will also be a wide range of social facilities, including a restaurant, coffee shop, hair and beauty salon, gym, spa, pool and sauna, library and internet suite as well as an outdoor bowling green and petanque court.
All residents will be able to access a range of specialist services to promote well-being, independence and enhance a healthy lifestyle, whilst having the reassurance that care and support are on hand 24 hours a day. There will be choices in accommodation and care along with facilities that are designed to meet specific needs, including day care and home care services. All care services on the Tresslewood site will be delivered by Scio Healthcare.
